Josh is a successful gym owner with multiple locations across the UK. He was ready to expand his fitness brand internationally. With a clear vision and a growing demand for high-quality training spaces, he set his sights on Ireland, specifically, the vibrant city of Cork. His goal was to introduce a small group personal training gym that offers a welcoming, structured environment for people of all fitness levels.
The unique concept behind Josh’s gyms is rooted in accessibility: every member starts from “Level One,” regardless of their background, age, or experience. This ensures a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that focuses on gradual progression and long-term results something that resonates strongly in today’s fitness landscape.
To bring this vision to life, he needed a complete gym fit-out from flooring and strength equipment to cardio machines and functional training zones. The space had to be not only visually appealing and durable, but also efficient, safe, and tailored to small group dynamics.

Our graphic designer worked closely with Chris to plan out his vision before any equipment was on site.

Key Equipment
- Custom Hexagonal Lighting: We installed a signature hex lighting feature down the centre of the gym. This serves a dual purpose: providing high-visibility illumination for safe training while acting as a striking architectural focal point that elevates the facility’s modern aesthetic.
- Space-Efficient 6-Bay Freestanding Rig: To maximise the usable floor area, we integrated a 6-bay freestanding rig. This configuration allows for high-volume group training and multiple squat stations within a compact footprint, maintaining an open-flow feel throughout the gym.
- Concept2 Performance Suite: They selected Concept2 cardiovascular equipment to ensure the highest standards of reliability and performance data tracking. These industry-standard machines are favoured by athletes for their smooth, air-resistance mechanics.
- Bolt Strength Functional Trainer: For specialised training and injury prevention. This versatile piece of equipment provides the controlled resistance necessary for both dynamic functional fitness movements and targeted rehabilitation exercises.

We maximised the floor plan’s utility, allowing for a high volume of concurrent users without compromising floor flow. The result is a versatile, future-proof environment that has significantly boosted member acquisition and retention.
