Welcome to the user agreement for Fitness Equipment Ireland.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms form a legal agreement between you and Balscadden Online Ltd (Company Registration No. 526137), trading as Fitness Equipment Ireland, and govern your use of our site and services. Our services include the sale of retail fitness and sports equipment to consumers. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, along with our Privacy Policy, before using the site or making a purchase.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the website after such updates constitutes your acceptance of them.

Orders & Payments

Internet orders are processed through a secure server. All major credit cards are accepted, and charges will appear as FITNESS EQUIPMENT IRELAND on your statement.

All prices are listed in Euro (€) and include VAT at 23% (where applicable).

When your card will be charged: Payment will be debited immediately upon placing the order. Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

Payment must be received in full before an order is shipped.

Orders paid by bank transfer must include the customer’s full name and order number as reference. Payment must be received within 3 business days, otherwise the order will be cancelled.

We no longer accept One4All, Me2You or other prepaid gift cards online. If you wish to use one of these, or make a split payment, please contact our sales team or visit our showroom.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

Your personal details are treated with the strictest confidentiality.

Information is used only for processing your order and, unless you request otherwise, to keep you informed about our products and offers.

We never share your details with third parties except where necessary to complete your order.

Product Information & Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for guidance only. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, they do not form part of any contractual agreement.

Prices are quoted in Euro (€), include VAT where applicable, and may change without prior notice.

Sale prices are valid while stocks last.

Delivery

Delivery charges are applied as shown during checkout.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only. We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by couriers or events beyond our control.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.

Order Cancellations & Returns

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched. If it has already shipped, you must follow our returns procedure.

In line with consumer rights, you have 14 calendar days from receipt of goods to cancel your order (“cooling-off period”). Products must be unused and in original packaging.

Refunds exclude delivery costs unless goods are faulty or incorrect. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer in the case of change-of-mind returns.

Refunds will be issued within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as the original purchase.

Bespoke, customised, or personalised items are excluded from the right of cancellation once production has begun.

If products are faulty, not as described, or damaged, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund.

Fraud Prevention

Fraudulent orders are taken very seriously. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the Gardaí and relevant authorities.

We may request additional verification of payment details by phone or email before dispatching an order.

Acceptable Use of Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

Post or transmit illegal, defamatory, offensive, or harmful content.

Introduce viruses, malware, or disruptive software.

Breach copyright, trademark, privacy, or any other third-party rights.

Engage in spam or unsolicited communications.

Any misuse of the site may result in access being suspended or terminated.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Fitness Equipment Ireland, its employees, agents, and partners against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from misuse of the website or breach of these Terms & Conditions.

All content on this website (logos, graphics, images, text, software) is owned by or licensed to Fitness Equipment Ireland.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the site without written permission.

While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of online transmissions.

Contract Formation

No contract exists until Fitness Equipment Ireland confirms dispatch of your order by email.

Once dispatched, the contract is binding and enforceable.

Refund Timelines

Once approved, refunds may take 3–5 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the Irish courts.

Acknowledgement of Complaints
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days of receiving it.

Investigation and Response
We will investigate your complaint promptly and fairly. A substantive response will be issued to you within 10 working days of acknowledgement. Where it is not possible to provide a final response within that timeframe, we will inform you of the reasons for the delay and indicate when you can expect a resolution.

Consumer Rights
This complaints procedure does not affect your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer protection law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
